Your inspector at Eagle Home Inspection, Dick Graf, is an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and was Certified by ASHI in 1997. To achieve ASHI Certification, an inspector must meet the most rigorous qualifications in the industry, including passing several difficult tests showing a high level of technical knowledge and a complete understanding of the ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. He must also have completed over 250 inspections with a sample of the reports verified for compliance with the Standards of Practice. In order to remain ASHI Certified an inspector must stay up to date with new products and practices and continue to hone his skills, so ASHI requires every inspector to take continuing education totalling at least 20 hours of class room time per year.
